Is the swim stop at St George’s Bay on the return journey?

Throughout the summer* the swim stop at St George’s Bay is scheduled for the return journey. Very occasionally weather conditions do not permit this and the swim stop is on the outboard journey but this is highly unlikely.  In October* however, when the sunsets very early and St George’s bay is thrown into shadow early afternoon the swim stop is on the way to Symi, not on the return.

Are pets allowed on the RSL ferry from Rhodes to Symi?

Small pets are allowed onboard provided they are in a carrier or on a leash and remain with their owner at all times. Please inform us when booking your tickets.

Can I take my car / motorbike on the ferry from Rhodes to Symi with RSL?

Currently, our ferry service is dedicated to passengers only. However, Symi is perfect for exploring on foot or by scooter, which can be rented upon arrival.

Can I take my pushchair / wheelchair / pram on the ferry from Rhodes to Symi with RSL?

Yes, you may. Please let us know if you are a wheelchair user as we will provide special assistance to faciliate your boat trip with us. Please note that pushchairs & prams should fold down.

Is there parking near the Mandraki RSL Departure Point?

Yes, there is parking but it is very over subscribed. If you have a rental car you’d be wise to join our boat in Faliraki (see falirakisealines.com) or further down the east coast of Rhodes (e.g. Kolymbia, Lindos (Vlicha), Kiotari) where the parking is abundant and free of charge).
